• Water, boiler, and heating repairs
• Windows and doors
• Locks, glazing and fittings
• Walls, floors, and ceilings

Housing Association Contract Holders

You will need to speak to your Housing Association regarding any repairs needed on your property.

 

Homeowners / Private Contract Holders

Care and Repair Cymru is a Welsh charity helping older people to live independently through repairs, adaptations and home maintenance.

The services they provide include:

• Free Healthy Home Checks.
• Home repairs, such as sorting out problems with damp, water leaks, loose carpet, broken windows and cracked gutters.
• Home adaptations.
• A handyperson service.
• Disability support.

Eligibility:

• There may be minimum age restrictions.
• You must own or privately rent your home.

Cost:

• Home visits, home checks and work recommendations are all free.
• Some of the recommended work can be paid for through available grants, but Care and Repair will discuss this with you.
