Post Office Card accounts are often used for benefits and pension payments if you don’t have access to another bank account.
From 11th May 2020 you will no longer be able to open a new account and will need to have a bank or building society account to receive your payments.
Here at Money Advice we can help you find a suitable bank account, even if you have had problems with credit history in the past. If you are struggling to find the ID needed to open an account, we can help you with this too.
Give us a call at the Advice Line 02920 871 071.
Please note that this does not affect people who currently have a Post Office account.
